Devloids are, to be succinct, screws. But to expand slightly on that definition, they are screws with a difference. The difference between Devloids and other screws is the tool that is used.
You no doubt are familiar with the common screwdriver. You are possibly even more familiar with your own fingers. With Devloids, you use your fingers. Screwdrivers come in many sizes and are easily misplaced. Your fingers are always the right size and always....at hand.
Devloids are commonly used to affix your computer case cover to the computer case itself. Using only your fingers, Devloids makes it a simple task to remove your cover for dusting the inside of your computer.
If you are a hobbyist, the advantages are instantly apparent. As I am constantly switching cards, duplicating hard drives, and such, I fell into the habit of leaving the cover off. Cooling became a concern and I ended up placing a small window fan blowing on my motherboard (doesen’t that sound attractive.) After contemplating this bizzare and space consuming solution I began to search for what eventually became Devloids. As an added bonus it was $102.00 cheaper than buying a toolless case.
